Coloring tutorials......
Hi all.....
I´m totally pissed off by my mother,so i didnt have mood to do any art....i just made some tut about coloring....next time i´m gonna do something more practical about blending or something....*wink**hug*

COLORING TUTORIALS(Photoshop CS3)

Ok ..I thought that it could be useful to make some tutorials …moreover i promised that i´ll make some…First of all,i´ll share with you my coloring….in few pics,i´ll show you some examples…but i have to warn you that it all depend on your pic..there can be differences, but mostly you can use it and it works just with little different setting…and wanna add that this is just for begginers,so you dont have to lose your time with it….

TEASER:

FIRST TUTORIAL

from this:

    to this:

FIRST COLORING TUTORIAL (original sized image 1;image 2)

1.Go to file --> open your pic….Before i start with coloring,i usually edit picture …I go to filter --> sharpen à sharpen…then if picture it’s too sharpened,I go to filter --> blur --> smart blur but settings just about radius 1,5 and threshold just about 10…I dunno it’s up to you…*wink*..in this pic I just sharpened it…

2.Then coloring….I go to layer --> new adjustment layer --> selective colour(or something like that,my PS is in czech)…

Setting Colours RED: C: -90;M: -23;Y: +51;K:+25

            Colours YELLOW: C: -71;M: -25;Y: +52;K: +40

            Colours NEUTRAL: C: -8;M: -2;Y:+10;K: +5

Then click ok….

3.Go to layer --> new adjustment layer --> color balance…

Shadows: -60;-11;-6

Middle tones: -49;-30;-5

Lights: 0;0;+100

4.I think this pic is too red,so i go to layer again --> new adjustment layer --> photographic filter --> I choose cold filter 80

It’s where I’m satisfy with pic….if it’s too dark just duplicate base layer and set it to screen 100%..

Here is what i ended up with:

SECOND COLORING TUTORIAL(JUST FAST ONE FOR SHOW ANOTHER TECHNIQUE)...(original sized image 1;image 2)

1.Open your pic…edit it as before(sharpen etc)

2.Go to layer --> new adjustment layer --> selective colour

RED: C: -60;M: -20; Y: +40; K: +60

NEUTRAL: -5;-1;+1;+5

3.Last step go to layer --> new adjustment layer --> hue and saturation

And set hue to -180..pic should looks like alien blue…then set this layer to soft light and opacity choose about 50%(although i think sometimes it´s pretty cool on 100%,too)..for example i left alone this picture(set on 100%),because it looks ok..but i warn you that often you have to set opacity about 50%...:)….

Notice:you can play with colours and all this stuff over and over…i have to admit that i never really know what will be my result, lol…:D…this is just tut for some inspiration…hope that it helps a little.....if   you would wanna ask something  or just say something, leave a comment....
